Privacy Policy

LuminaMotion ("we", "our", "us") is a Shopify application that generates AI-powered fashion videos for product pages. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Data We Collect

When you install LuminaMotion we receive:

• Shop domain — to identify your store and store your plan / credit balance.
• Product data (title, description, image URLs) — used solely to generate the video. We do not store product images.
• Shopify access token — stored securely in our database to make Admin API calls on your behalf (write product metafields, manage tags, register webhooks).

We do not collect or store any customer personal data (names, emails, addresses, payment information).

2. How We Use Data

• Generate AI video scripts using a third-party AI language model API.
• Generate videos using a third-party AI video generation service.
• Upload completed videos to your Shopify Files library via the Admin API.
• Track credit balances and billing plan status.

Product data (title, description, image URLs) is transmitted to our AI service providers solely for video generation and is not retained by those services beyond the API call.

3. Data Sharing

We share data only with the third-party services required to operate the app:

• AI language model provider — receives product title and description to generate a video script.
• AI video generation provider — receives product image URLs to generate the video.
• Fly.io — our hosting provider (processes all server-side data).
• Neon / PostgreSQL — our database provider (stores shop records, job records, Shopify session tokens).

We do not sell data to third parties.

4. Data Retention

Shop and job records are retained while your app is installed. When you uninstall LuminaMotion, your shop record is flagged as uninstalled. You may request full deletion by emailing us.

Shopify will send a shop/redact webhook 48 hours after uninstall, at which point we permanently delete all shop data from our database.

5. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about your store.
• Request correction or deletion of that data.
• Object to or restrict our processing of your data.

6. Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Shopify access tokens are stored in an encrypted-at-rest PostgreSQL database. We follow Shopify's security guidelines for partner applications.
